About me

Hi, I’m Vladimir — originally from a small Northern country, Estonia, and living in Vienna since 2009.

My main occupation is in banking, but photography has been a constant presence in my life since childhood. It helps me stay curious about the world — noticing details, stories, and fleeting moments that appear only once and never return in the same form. Like waves in the ocean, each moment is unique, and photography lets me hold onto it for just a second longer.

I’m drawn to many different subjects: the small, almost invisible scenes of everyday life; the abstract shapes and patterns that reveal themselves only at a second glance; and, on the opposite side of the spectrum, subjects that are neither fleeting nor hidden — like mountains, with their stillness, calmness, and quiet reminder not to rush.

Photography is a form of meditation for me. Whether I’m hiking in nature, traveling to a place for the first time, or walking a familiar street, every situation offers endless possibilities. Even the music I listen to shapes how I see — the same location can look completely different depending on whether it’s The Beatles or The Prodigy playing in my headphones.

These moments and stories are what inspire me every day. I’m happy to share them with you — and I invite you to join me on this journey.
